Professional Biography
Marc Mangino has been teaching music for a decade. Since he has graduated high school he has been working with marching bands as a consultant and arranger for many successful programs. Also, for the past seven years, he is an active private music instructor teaching piano and percussion for as many as 65 students a week. For his students, he has held several recitals and has had hundreds of students perform; solo pieces, duo and duet pieces, ensemble work and band performances. His most significant contribution, though, is the seven snare drum method books and a drum set book he wrote to create a library of material for various levels of beginner percussionists. Marc Mangino holds a bachelors degree in Music from Thomas Edison State College and holds several credits for Percussion Performance from The College of New Jersey. Currently, he is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Music Education from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey.
